Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.
Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.
It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.
In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.
We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.
Our Love Promise can be seen in various partnerships with local charities and non-profits. We're grateful for the opportunity, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve it as well.
We are excited to be sponsoring Prescott Firefighters Charities. We strive to help out our local community and we feel that the Prescott Firefighters was the best choice for charities this year. We would like to thank all of our hard working men and women out there that put their lives on the line to keep us safe and help in our times of need.
Executive director, Jim Brewer and Mark Falk of Tim's Subaru in Prescott, AZ teamed up to visit AZ Oncology in Prescott, AZ. "We love what LLS does for the blood cancer community and we thank Subaru for all these blankets for our patients," said Lori Oltmanns of AZ Oncology. Patients appreciated the blankets as they were receiving treatment at the clinic. LLS and Subaru were fortunate to deliver these blankets personally and meet patients firsthand. It was an extremely heartwarming experience to be part of! Over the winter months, monarch butterflies in Mexico begin to make the journey north to the United States in early spring. Soon after they leave Mexico, pairs of monarch’s mate. As they reach the southern United States, females will look for available milkweed plants to lay eggs. Monarchs are truly spectacular migrants, because the butterflies know the correct direction to migrate even though they have never made the journey before. They follow an internal "compass" that points them in the right direction each spring and fall. The monarch migration is one of the greatest natural phenomena in the insect world. Here's where Tim's Subaru is here to help. We have partnered with the National Wildlife to help these majestic creatures combat rapidly declining populations in recent years. For the month of April as part of the Subaru Loves the Earth initiative,Tim's Subaru will have a butterfly habitat planter on-site. The planter will be full of milkweed to help these beautiful monarchs lay their eggs. Come by and check it out. We will also be giving out milkweed packets to create your own butterfly garden at home! We hope that you will join us in taking part in this initiative and help make the Prescott area more aware of the species that are in need of our assistance.
At Tim's we're locally owned & family operated We LOVE Prescott & Subaru Loves the Earth -that's why we are leading the way to promote E-Waste Recycling in our community.
My name is Dan and I am a member of the United Yavapai Firefighters Local 3066. Our local has a long standing relationship with the AZ burn Foundation raising funds in support of "Camp Courage", AZ Children's Burn Camp. This camp provides young burn survivors the opportunity to attend a week long camp where they can escape from the loneliness and frustration often experienced by burn survivors. While these children continue to heal on the outside, the many challenging opportunities afforded them by Burn Camp supports their healing process on the inside as well. Through Subaru's "Share the Love" program, I was honored to accept a substantial donation on behalf of the AZ Burn Foundation which will afford many young people the opportunity to attend camp. Thank you to all the hard working people of Tim's Subaru for your generous and continued support of Arizona's burned children.
Tim's Subaru, we strive to make sure that all our customers have a "customer first" experience. Located in Prescott, AZ, the town known for "The Worlds Oldest Rodeo", we all came together in a tragic time of need which leads me to share how at Tim's Subaru, we will go the "distance" to see that not only our customers but our community is taken care of. On June 30, 2013, 19 firefighters, members of the Prescott Fire Department's Granite Mountain Hotshots were killed Sunday while fighting the Yarnell Hill fire, northwest of Phoenix. They were part of an elite squad confronting wildfires on the front line, setting up barriers to stop the spreading destruction. But in their impulsive and unpredictable line of duty, it doesn't take much to turn a situation deadly. In this case, a wind shift and other factors caused a central Arizona fire, which now spans 8,400 acres, to become erratic, said Mike Reichling, Arizona State Forestry Division spokesman. The deaths of the 19 fallen representing about 20 percent of Prescott's fire department devastated the city. Our store donated the usage of our facility for the Memorial Service of the 19 firefighters on July 9, 2013.
Education, we hear that word quite frequently but what does it mean? Miriam Webster's Dictionary defines education as "the knowledge and development resulting from an educational process". Tim's Subaru is taking a "driving force" in supporting the knowledge and development of young flourishing minds in that educational process. As the only Full Line Dealership in Northern, AZ, our mission is not only to satisfy and reach that truly exceptional experience with all our customers but also to reach out into our community where we feel there is a boundless need. Tim's Auto Group joined forces with the Prescott Educational Foundation (PEF) to create the Tim's Auto Group Educational Endowment Program. Tim's started going to work on creating this program three years ago in March of 2011 and it has only grown and increased ever since. This new program is designed to benefit students in the Prescott Unified School District (PUSD) in several ways. The endowment program's main functions are to provide funds for all types of facility needs for schools throughout the PUSD system, academic scholarships to Prescott High School graduating seniors and pay to play scholarships for those athletes in need.
